"I recommend the immunization schedule of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which is also the schedule endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics. There is no evidence that this immunization schedule is not in the best interest of most infants.  However, I do understand that parents are concerned about giving so many vaccinations.

 

However, it is the policy of this office to have patients' parent sign Sunshine Pediatrics Vaccine Policy when they become patients of this office. A parent must also sign the American Academy of Pediatrics Refusal to Vaccinate Form every time they decline a CDC/AAP scheduled vaccine. This policy is non-negotiable. We do not take patients who challenge our policy and will discharge patients from the practice if this policy is not complied with."
