On-Call Providers

Expectant, new, and seasoned parents alike have questions about the health and wellness of their baby. At Sunshine Pediatrics, you can call us during normal business hours for any question that may arise at (407) 215-0400 and follow prompts for the nurse line. 

To reach an on-call provider after our normal office hours, call our office at 407-215-0400 and select option 3 and then option 1. You'll be ask to leave a brief message and your phone number (please repeat your phone number twice). One of our providers will call you back at their earliest convenience. If you do not hear back from a provider in 30 minutes, please call again. This service is designed to help with urgent medical needs that cannot or should not wait until our office re-opens. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.  

When your child is sick, it may be hard to remember all of the details, so please have a pen and paper handy in case the provider has to give you specific instructions. Although we do pride ourselves in being familiar with your child(ren) it will be helpful to provide some important information when you call:

•If your child has a fever, what is their temperature, and how/when did you take it? Have you given them any fever-reducing medication?

•Please also let the provider know any ongoing medical issues your child may have, whether or not they seem relevant at the time of the call.

•Know your child's current medications (and dosages). It is also helpful to know any vitamins, supplements, and/or herbal treatments.
